img_3585Recently, DameTruth has been working with local dealer, Bicycle.co.nz working to get Aerospoke wheels into New Zealand.
We are happy to announce the first order has been placed, with some due around Christmas time. Perhaps the perfect Christmas present?!
Preorders are available now.

Thanks Bicycle.co.nz!

Ok, so chari and co has these for approx $US350 = $NZ485….
where the hell does the extra $NZ215 come from?!

Unfortunately I can’t go into specifics but I can say that the cost chari and co must get them for must be a fair bit cheaper, possibly due to them buying in larger volumes. According to Chari and co website they’re 375US (approx $520nzd). Also there is import duty, postage and a small margin for the store which I think is fair. Supporting the fixed gear community shouldn’t be a loss making venture, I feel. Also for your consideration, take T-whites and their recent Nitto order. I commend places such as t-whites, the distributor wideopen and now bicycle for supporting us.

One of those disadvantages of being at the bottom of the world, I guess.

I know, I know…. I’m just having a wee cry as there is little chance of me scratching $700 together for a single wheel. humpff.

seven large, seven weeks till christmas…. Hmm, that’s not that long on bread and water… (with the odd jug of beer)
I think It might be on!
