After moving on the Cinelli I was on the hunt for something a bit cheaper. Here is what I ended up with…

It’s a 2010 GT Gutterball. I swapped some parts out on it, most notably the rear hub. I swapped it for the Charge shaker hub and a 17t cog. Interesting style hub for sure.

For the price, this bike has a lot going for it.

    How are you finding the hub? Would you recommend this over a conventional style hub?

    The Hub is good, absolutely no problems with it!
    The cogs you buy are really strong too. With the Allen key tightening it’s really easy to do up too.
    I’d definitely recommend one. Only downside is limited cog sizing, though you could get some made up surely.
