… So finally I did a bike check. Here’s my 725TR Track bike (50×17) which is FOR SALE by the way (leave a post if your interested). I’m moving to San Francisco, so its perfect excuse for me to build up a new bike haha.

This bike is built up for the streets, wheelset is on the heavy side (and “hypespoke” circa 2009) but perfect for curb hopping and the occasional off-road-ing. Bullhorns for the Wellington Hills and the carbon fork is super comfy on the road. I’m definitely going to miss this ride.

Thursday Rides are back! …well they never left really. Last week was solid ride and a good turn out too. We mixed it up a bit last week and rode to The Hutt, loaded up with pizza and beer then rode back. For a change the rain didn’t show up till after the ride. Its amazing how chill a motorway ride is without traffic and wind.

What a day. The sun was out in full force and so was the WIND. Well the 50 km/h wind didn’t stop us heading to to Eastborne for some rebound shopping, fish n Chips, beers and a dip in the sea … OR Jordan taking a detour to Queensgate Mall to do some Banking (WTF?) and Brad leading the pack on his 50 x 15 ratio (BEAST!)

…Oh and if you ever take the ferry back to wellington, No smoking and BYO. Also TIM only spews to his LEFT.

I can’t help but feel slightly responsible for his rookie accident. Damn…that traffic Island was invisible last night! I swear it this could have happen to anyone (?!) . Bombing the hills of Welly in winter is no joke.
