Since coming back from Seoul with this Gem. I found it hard to piece together what I wanted for this bike. With all my builds I’ve always had the theme sticking with certain categories. This time round I just want the BEST of the BEST.

… So finally I did a bike check. Here’s my 725TR Track bike (50×17) which is FOR SALE by the way (leave a post if your interested). I’m moving to San Francisco, so its perfect excuse for me to build up a new bike haha.

This bike is built up for the streets, wheelset is on the heavy side (and “hypespoke” circa 2009) but perfect for curb hopping and the occasional off-road-ing. Bullhorns for the Wellington Hills and the carbon fork is super comfy on the road. I’m definitely going to miss this ride.

Soo the reiker build is going very slow.. struggling to find parts and have very low funds. however! i just finished this. this has been my daily runner for the last few months and was built from my spare parts bin for a long time. i decide it needed its own set of parts and this is the result. This is probably my favourite bike ive owned so far. has a good balance of loks strength speed stiffness. not the best at anything but definitely an allrounder. anyway. enjoy!

as always after each build i say it will be the last. well it never is. This is my current project. A New Zealand made Reiker built from columbus oria tubing.

its got crazy tight clearances and a wicked colour, this bike will most likely become my daily and my GT pulse demoted to my race bike. The build list thus far is:

-Reiker frame fork
-Mavic open pro to miche wheelset
-campagnolo super record fluted seat post
-Titanium flite saddle
-suntour superbe pro crankset*
-nitto jag stem
-Stronglight headset*
-nitto risers*
-Mks pedals
-charge half link

Had this bike for a while now, about 15 months. Here is what it used to look like.

Just recently changed a bunch of parts on it in time for Resurrection Weekend in Auckland.
It’s a fun bike for blasting around town on and feels ultra stable going down hill with the  big bars on.

Sooooo… due to everyone being injured/ away the blog has been lacking content for a while. Ive just had my second surgery in 6 weeks and will be out from riding for another 10 or so weeks. But apart from all this im still building and collecting bikes. Most of you have seen this but i though i would throw it up anyway cus im bored,

Purchased from OG dametruth member Adam a few months ago this bike is now one of my favourites ive ever owned. built to be a proper roadie with all modern running gear it runs smooth and has taken me on a few hefty k rides before injury set in. i hope to be back on it asap. But dont worry my fixed gear passion has not lessend since purchasing gears and brakes!

54cm J.Foster made from Reynolds 731

running Shimano 105/ultegra gruppo.

3ttt bars and stem with record seat post and san marco seat.

Rolling on Fulcrum 7s with gatorskins front and rear.

Enjoy! will through up some pictures in a few weeks of my other new bike a 2010  GT pulse. still a work in progress though.
