60km or so ride out to Eastbourne . Ridiculous pace on the way back! Cramp life!

We’ll be riding town to Eastbourne Sunday 16th Jan. Meet at Civic Square 1100am.

Bring some money for food/beers/ferry etc and a pump and tube incase you get a puncture. Maybe a drink too.

Group of us went for a ride around the bay, starting from our usual meet spot at Civic square along the motorway, through Petone then to Eastborne. We stopped at Days bay for lunch and hung out at the local primary school for a BMX/scooter jam session.

O yeah – We all took the ferry back while Jordan decided to ride back after a dip in the sea…Crazy Canadian..

Charge Bikes is available in New Zealand, and has been for a few months. Bicycle in Lower Hutt is selling some of the Charge parts, and will be able to get in the bikes for you should you want one. They’re pretty reasonably priced and look like good quality bikes.

We went for a bit of a ride last night, since it wasn’t raining for once.
