Today Armand and I went and checked out some track racing.

It was good watching the different techniques and tactics. Some nice bikes up there too…
For those interested, there is some track racing this Saturday at the Hataitai Velodrome. If you are curious about giving track a go and want to see what it’s about then head on down for a look.

Cinelli has released their catalogs for 2010 products recently. They feature a few things that might be of interest to the fixed gear crowd.
Well I’ve finally managed to convince myself that my black 79′ Vincolo trick bike is too small for me…(duh kinda was obvious)

Tires of Fire contest this Saturday the 8th in Wellington from 2pm.
Spread the word- it’ s on the walkway between Te Papa gallery and Waitangi Park. Let’s see how far the Wellingtonians can skid. You can ride any non geared bike, no gears.

Charge Bikes is available in New Zealand, and has been for a few months. Bicycle in Lower Hutt is selling some of the Charge parts, and will be able to get in the bikes for you should you want one. They’re pretty reasonably priced and look like good quality bikes.
