Wellington track season dates have been announced.
The season officially begins November 3rd, and will continue through to March 30th. Running on Sundays from 4-6pm makes it pretty easy to show up.
Get Training, it’s a bunch of fun!
Over the weekend was the Laykold Cup at the Velo.
DameTruther Gareth took the opportunity to get some racing in and some more time on the bumpy concrete surface that is the Hataitai Velodrome.

Since coming back from Seoul with this Gem. I found it hard to piece together what I wanted for this bike. With all my builds I’ve always had the theme sticking with certain categories. This time round I just want the BEST of the BEST.
Our friends at PNP & Wellington Velodrome have announced details for a Sunday series starting in November. Details below.
Cycle racing in Wellington is about to get a whole lot faster and exciting with a new Speed League Track Racing series set to begin at Hataitai Velodrome in November 2012.
The season-long points based competition is open to all grades and abilities and will run from 4-6pm every Sunday afternoon from November 4 until April 2013. Riders can accumulate points in graded racing that go to an overall league table. The Sprint Ace competition is back too, and there will be a new Team Scratch competition to compete in as teams of clubs, shops or just mates.
The Speed League has come about based on rider feedback and lessons learned from previous seasons. This is your chance to be part of something awesome so start dusting off your track bike.

A few months ago we had a Team Kit made. Grant took some photos of some of us at the track last night.
Take a look!
